Description
As part of an ongoing push to let the combined blocks of Pinot noir at our northern vineyard define this wine’s style, we again picked early (to keep alcohol lower) and used less new oak to highlight fruit characters and push for softer tannin. The result is juicy and bright, with plenty of leafy redcurrants and red cherries up front, before a surprisingly long (and sweetening) finish. A fresh, highly approachable red that’ll reward drinking in the next couple of years.
