Description
Skilfully crafted from hand-picked grapes grown on very mature vines-40 years old on average. It is a concentrated and layered example of a true classic from Puglia. With inviting aromas of spiced cherries and black fruits complemented by undertones of cocoa, tobacco and dried plums. Medium - full bodied, soft on the palate with flavours that continue to evolve into the finish.
''Deep dark ruby. On the nose there are notes of ripe cherry and forest fruit, followed by blackberry jam. The palate opens with a fine texture, well-rounded, with a fine finish.'' 92 Points, Puglia Trophy, Falstaff Wine Guide (Previous Vintage Review)
